Your diary is a safe place where you can be honest and candid about your thoughts, feelings and opinions. Diaries are for the eyes of their owners and no one else. Your diary is for you and by you. Reflect, create dream. Do whatever you want with your words. A diary entry is a section of writing that has been organized by date. The entries within your diary are how you organize the thoughts, feelings and opinions you are pouring into it. They break up your diary into smaller pieces. Think of them like chapter of a book. since diary entries are like chapters in a book, you first have to decide what your book is going to be about. Brainstorm ideas for your diary, like whether you want it to be just about you or about a specific topic. Once you have a theme then you can begin. So let’s began the tips for Diary writing…..
Mention the Date:
The First rule of writing a diary is to mention the date when you write a diary. Pick a corner and keep it for mentioning dates of your diary entry. You may not write every day. Some people are also specific about time and place as well. Again it’s about personal preferences. Since one usually keeps a diary for a long period of time, it’s wiser to think out a general format for your diary entries and stick to it. You may change a few things depending on how you feel like, no one is watching it.
Choose a subject:
Just like a chapter, usually there is a reason why you reached out to make a diary entry. Sometimes it is what happened that day or sometimes it is to write about something you want to do in future or may be to just mark an event that triggered strong emotions in you like happiness, anger, excitement etc. Whatever it is that you picked your journal for; your diary entry will have a topic that way.
Voice:
Now we always address our entries in the first person. If you want you can give it a name. Usually people address their diary entries as ‘Dear Diary’.
Write Naturally:
Don’t feel like your entries need to impress anywhere. They are just for you, so relax and go for it.
Be Honest:
The key thing about a diary entry is that it is always kept truthful, natural and free flowing. Trust your thought train and don’t stop or mince words for the fear of being watched or judged. It is your space to let out all your feelings, don’t hold back.
Be Friendly:
when you are writing try and write as if you are writing to a friend.
Keep Writing:
If you feel like you are at a loss for words, just keep writing it. Feel free to record your train of thought. Think about why you have hit a wall what is getting in the way? Think about what you are writing about and how that could be affecting your entry and write about that thought process.
Re-Read Your Entry:
Once you have finished your entry, Re-Read your entry and may be list something you hope to focus on in your next entry. Reflect on what you have just written. May be some new things will come to mind that you can wrote down before you put your diary down.
Make It a habit:
The more frequently you write entries in your diary, the more you will enjoy doing it and the more you will learn from them. Set a certain time during the day that you want to write in your diary and try to keep to the schedule. The More you practice writing diary entries, the better you will became at it.

Today I got my result of second summative test. My performance at the same is very poor. I have distracted from my studies because of spending long hours playing mobile games.
