About the author of the novel lecture:
Mother Teresa was the youngest of three children of an Albanian family. Her full name is Agnes Gonxha bojaxhiu. She was born in Uskub, Ottoman Empire on August 26, 1910. The city is now called Skopje. Her father died when she was only 8 and she was raised by her mother. at the age of 12, she strongly felt the call of God. She knew she had to be a missionary to spread the love of Christ.
At the age of 18, she left her parents all home in scope G and joined the sister of Loreto and the Irish community of nuns with missions in India. After a few months of training in Dublin, she was sent to India, where on May 24 1931 she took our initial vows as a nun. On September 10, 1946, on a train journey from Calcutta to Darjeeling, Mother Teresa received the ‘call within a call’. it was to give rise to the Missionaries of Charity order.
On October 7 1950 the Missionaries of Charity received official status as a religious community. Mother Teresa was honored with many awards throughout her life, from the Indian Padma Shri in 1962 to the inaugural pope john XXIII peace prize in 1971 to Albania’s Golden Honor of the nation in 1994. In 1979 she was awarded the greatest award, the Nobel Peace Prize.
Mother Teresa accepted all of these awards on behalf of the poor. Following a prolonged illness, beloved Mother Teresa left her mortal body on Sep 5, 1997. She was announced as the Saint on September 4, 2016.

In her Nobel lecture, Mother Teresa says that she wants to pray the prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi before saying anything to the gathering. Mother Teresa points out that they should thank God because God has offered all of us the great gift of peace. Jesus became man to bring the good news of peace to the poor and all.
Jesus not only became a man but also died on the cross. He died on the cross to show his greater love. He died for you and me. So, this is very important for us to realize that God loves us or for that love of God. We are created in the image of God. We have been created to love and Be Loved. Mother Teresa mentions one experience in a home. she could never forget that.
There she saw those old parents had everything but none of them had smiles on their faces. They are hurt because they are forgotten. the poverty of our hearts comes to our home. She was surprised to see that many young boys and girls are given drugs. It happens because their parents have no time to look after them. these are the things that break the peace, but she thought that the greatest destroyer of peace is abortion.
They are fighting against abortion by adoption. to fight against these, they are also teaching the poor people Natural Family planning. only in Calcutta, they had 61273 babies Les by natural family planning. like the poor people all can do it without destroying the life that God has created in the US. Mother Teresa says that the poor people are very great. They can teach us so many beautiful things. they may have nothing to eat, they may have no home to live in, they are great at heart.
She mentions a woman who died with a smile of gratitude because she took our care a bit. Mother Teresa wonders what she could do if she was in her place. She wonders how she could give her a grateful love even at the time of death. Mother Teresa says that she does not believe that they are real social workers. they are contemplative in the heart of the world. If we can love one another, we will be able to overcome all the evils in the world. Love begins at home. It is not how much we do but how much love we put into our actions.
It does not matter how much we do to God because he is infinite. Sometimes also in Calcutta, they had great difficulty in gathering sugar. A 4-year-old little Hindu boy came to their home to offer his share of sugar. He did it because he knew that he wanted to share his love. Mother Teresa says in her lecture that she received so much love they are for that cause. from the time she went there, she had been surrounded with love. She told the gathering that she wanted them to find the poor in their own home first. She wanted them to be the cause of good news to their people and their neighbors.
She shared her extraordinary experience with a Hindu family. she told them how the Hungry Hindu family with eight children shared their little rise with a Muslim family. She told them that with the Nobel Prize she was going to make the home for many people that had no home. She told them of her belief that if they could create a home for the poor more and more love would spread. to be able to do this, their lives have to be furnished with prayer. They have to be woven with Christ.
If a person feels confined, feels unwanted, unloved that kind of poverty is so hurtable. their sister walking among that kind of people in the west. She asked the gathering to pray for them. She advised everyone to meet each other with a smile because the smile is the beginning of love. Once we begin to love each other naturally we want to do something for others. a man who had been on his back for 20 years gave her $15. It was a terrible sacrifice for him. It is a gift of God to ask to be able to share our love with others. We should love God with undivided love.
Mother Teresa wanted to make a point that no child will be unwanted and we will meet each other always with a smile. Mother Teresa never forgot some time ago about 14 professors who came from the United States to their home in Calcutta. one of them requested her to say something that they would remember.
